Prof. David Nelken - University of Macerata, Italy

David Nelken is Distinguished Professor of Sociology at the University of Macerata in Italy, and also Visiting Professor of Law at the Universities of Cardiff, the LSE, and Utrecht. He has received a distinguished scholar award in criminology from the American Sociological Association. Trained in criminology with a doctorate from the Institute of Criminology at Cambridge, he has taught it at undergraduate and postgraduate level in Edinburgh, University College London and the Universities of Macerata, Trento and Milan in Italy. He is a specialist in the study of white collar crime and comparative criminology.
